Garden Maintenance Team Leader - Vacancy

We are looking for an experienced and qualified  gardener to join us as a team leader/foreman, helping to maintain our clients’ gardens to a very high standard. You will need to have at least three years experience, have relevant horticultural qualifications and a current UK driving licence.

In the deep mid winter snow lay all around ...There is not a lot going on in London gardens this week under a blanket of snow. Meanwhile our office guard dog is waiting patiently for the snow to melt so that we can get back to work.

News

 It has been such a busy summer, despite the lovely weather that we have not been enjoying, that we have had to invest in a new vehicle. We have just taken delivery of this smart Transit van, sign written in our company livery.

Indoor gardening

In the middle of winter it's a pleasant relief for Alex and our gardening team to be looking after this four storey high, indoor garden wall in a converted mews house in Belsize Park.

We visit this regular maintenance contract every two weeks and the job is not without its challenges. Keeping the plants alive and flourishing is not always easy in their unnatural, centrally heated environment; it is also an interesting experience to stretch over the deep lightwell to deadhead, water and weed.

It is now over a year since we started looking after the 'garden' and the plants, which include orchids, palms, figs and othe foliage plants, are thriving.
